Natalie Cordrey, Yoga
Natalie, owner of Start Bay Studio, teaches multiple Yoga classes a week for all levels and abilities. She completed both her 200 hour and in depth 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training in Seattle, studying with Aadil Palkhivala. She has also trained in Oxygen Advantage Breathwork techniques, Yoga Nidra, Restorative Yoga and Functional Flow with Jason Crandell. Her teaching is rooted in Iyengar, and focuses on finding the correct alignment in every posture. Natalie’s classes are £12 drop in or £10 if using a class pass. Lauren Watson, Pilates
Lauren has been teaching Pilates for 15 years. As a practicing Physio she trained with the Australian institute for Pilates in London. She currently teaches Monday afternoon Pliates at Start Bay Studio. Her teaching style is unrushed, specific and aims to challenge you and get you to really connect with your body. Her way of teaching is a combination of the fundamentals of the APPI style as well as classical principles and exercises - with a bit of Physiotherapy knowledge too! Lauren’s classes can booked as term blocks, £15 per class, or drop in at £20 per class. Contact Lauren to book directly.

Laura Mitchell, Yoga
Laura began her yoga journey 8 years ago when she was struggling with the transition into motherhood, and it completely transformed her life! Fast forward a few years and she has undertaken and qualified as a 200hr Yoga Teacher, and has also completed 85hr pre and post-natal training, 50hr women’s health certification, Birthlight baby massage & baby yoga training, and is currently in final stages of qualifying for her 500hr advanced teacher training. Laura teaches vinyasa on a Monday evening as well as pre and post natal class on Thursdays at Start Bay Studio.
Fun fact: In a previous life, Laura was a Red Bull pit girl! (A very long time ago…!)

Franny Morris, Pilates
Franny is a nurse and level 3 Mat Pilates teacher, having gained her initial qualification with Body Control Pilates in 2016. She continues to take additional courses to constantly improve her knowledge and skills. In class Franny focus on alignment, technique and body awareness to help people move better—whether it’s for competitive sports or life in general! Her classes are relaxed, inclusive and personalised, using small equipment and modifications to suit all abilities. Franny’s classes are in half term blocks, every Tuesday at Start Bay Studio. £10 per class if paying for the whole block, or £14 drop in.

Kerry Taylor, Massage
Kerry began practising massage over 4 years ago, after training with South Devon College. She has a wide variety of techniques and approaches that enable her to provide treatments that are right and appropriate for everyone whether it is a holistic or remedial massage. Kerry offers Holistic massages (including Indian Head massage, Swedish massage, Hot Stones massage), as well as Sports massage. She always takes time to understand what’s going on with you, in order to address any injuries and to provide exercises and movements to aid and assist recovery. Kerry offers massages on Wed-Fri at the Studio.

Francesca Stafford, Yoga
Francesca teaches Weds Tone and Flow. Her teaching philosophy is centred on guiding you to discover freedom, space, and joy within your own body. To meet you where you are, however you are and to support you in tuning into your body with compassion and curiosity. Her teaching style is fun and classes are often filled with laughter and exploration. Francesca offers a combination of flow-y and strong movements allowing you to explore your body in a safe and enjoyable way. Francesca has completed over 400 registered training hours in Vinyasa Flow, Yin, Rocket yoga and Tantric Philosophy.
Fun fact: Francesca has a stumpy thumb, that her whole family call her big toe!

Moira Laidlaw, Reflexology
Moira trained as a reflexologist in 2017 and continues to upgrade her knowledge and understanding in this field. She has almost completed training as a cranio-sacral reflexologist, which is a very deep treatment, and as so can be hugely effective in working to release deeply held physical and emotional blocks held in the body. Moira offers a selection of types and styles of reflexology and is happy to blend sessions, or incorporate sound/crystals where appropriate, making for a tailormade experience. Moira can take appointments at Start Bay Studio on Mon/Tues afternoons.

Tasha Kalisher, Qi Gong & Shiatsu
Tasha has spent the last 13 years working as an alternative health practitioner. At the heart of her work is her passion for empowering people to come into deeper relationships with themselves. Through a combination of dialogue, nutritional advice, shiatsu massage and qigong movements, Tasha offers a truly holistic approach to her work. Before working as an holistic health practitioner Tasha worked for 27 years with children, which taught her the value of being present. Tasha teaches Mindful Movement classes (Qi Gong) at the Studio on Friday mornings at 9.30am.
Fun fact: Tasha makes amazing herbal tea blends which we all LOVE!

Helen Phillips, Sound Baths
The last few years have taken Helen on a journey into the joy and benefits of Sound Therapy, following 30years of teaching young adults with sensory needs. As an adult, until a few years ago Helen’s meditation was in silence, until she experienced her first Gong Bath, the vibration took her to a place of deep rest and her thirst for knowledge and learning about the use of sound in meditation was truly lit! Helen now creates her amazing immersive Sound Journey Meditation experiences: ‘Sounds by the Sea’ on the last Friday of every month at Start Bay Studio. Session runs from 7-8pm. Book directly.
